What is motivation?
In the general sense, motivation is the desire and the will do want to to something. It could also be a reason or a stimulus for why you react or respond in a certain way. In your life, there may be things that drive you to act like people or circumstances, but the best motivation of all is the motivation that comes from within. This is called Intrinsic Motivation and if you want to live a life where you are able to obtain the results you want and realize success, it is important to have your main source of motivation be from within.
What causes lack of motivation?
There are things that cause a lack of motivation such as depression, laziness, neurotransmitters that you have trained through your prior behaviors to reward your lack of drive, and more.
